1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how HELP SENIOR LIMITED ("we", "us", "our"), which operates The Estate Kit at theestatekit.com, handles your personal information. For customers in the United States, we handle personal information consistent with applicable federal and state privacy law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the "CCPA/CPRA") and the comparable privacy laws of other states (see section 10).

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to sell and deliver our digital products and to support you:

  • Your first name and email address (given at checkout)
  • Order information (the product bought, date and amount)
  • Basic browsing information (IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referral source)
  • Any message you send us

We do not collect or store your full card details — payments are handled directly by our payment providers.

3. How we use it

  • To process your order and deliver your kit by email
  • To provide customer support and respond to your messages
  • To meet our record-keeping and other legal obligations
  • To send you related updates or offers, consistent with the federal CAN-SPAM Act — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it
  • To deliver and measure advertising, including through the Meta Pixel (see sections 5 and 10)

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:

  • Vercel — website hosting
  • Stripe and PayPal — secure payment processing
  • Our email provider — to deliver your kit and support emails
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising and measurement

We may also disclose information where required by law.

5. Cookies and tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies: some are necessary for it to work, and others help us measure traffic and deliver and measure advertising. This includes the Meta Pixel, which lets us understand which ads led to a visit or a purchase and show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and any consent banner shown on the Site, and you can use your browser's or device's opt-out signals — we honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sharing for advertising where required by law.

6. Where your data is held

Our service providers are based in the United States and outside it, including Hong Kong, so your information may be stored or processed outside the United States and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure it's handled with a comparable level of protection.

7. How we keep it safe

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and payment processing by PCI-DSS-certified providers, and we limit access to those who need it.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet our legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify it.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and opt out of marketing emails at any time. To make a request, email raphael@theestatekit.com. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. Section 10 sets out the additional rights you have if you live in a state with a consumer privacy law.

10. US state privacy rights

10.1 Categories of personal information we collect

In the terms used by the CCPA/CPRA, in the last 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers — first name, email address, IP address, and online/device identifiers such as cookie IDs
  • Commercial information — records of the products you bought, the date and the amount paid
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information — pages viewed, referral source, and interactions with the Site collected through cookies and advertising pixels, including the Meta Pixel
  • Customer records — the content of any message you send us

We collect this information from you directly, automatically from your device when you use the Site, and from our payment and advertising providers. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use or disclose it for purposes that require an additional right to limit its use.

10.2 Why we collect it

We use these categories for the purposes described in section 3: fulfilling your order, delivering your kit, supporting you, meeting our legal and record-keeping obligations, improving the Site, and advertising and measurement.

10.3 "Sale" and "sharing" of personal information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, when we use advertising and measurement tools such as the Meta Pixel, identifiers and internet activity information are disclosed to Meta so that ads can be targeted and measured across different websites and apps. Under the CCPA/CPRA that disclosure may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and some other state laws describe it as "targeted advertising" or as a "sale". We treat it as such and give you a way to opt out.

10.4 Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To opt out of this sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, email raphael@theestatekit.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information". Please write from the email address you used on the Site so we can identify you. We will action your request and confirm it by email. You can also enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we treat as an opt-out request for that browser, and you can decline advertising cookies in the consent banner on the Site.

10.5 Rights of California residents

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties it was disclosed or shared with
  • Delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the exceptions allowed by law
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (see 10.4)
  • Non-discrimination — we will never charge you a different price, or give you a lesser product or service, because you exercised any of these rights

To exercise any of these rights, email raphael@theestatekit.com. We may ask you to confirm details of your order so we can verify that the request really comes from you, and we will respond within the time allowed by law. You can use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof that you gave them permission.

10.6 Residents of other states

Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and others as their laws come into effect — have similar rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. You can exercise them the same way: email raphael@theestatekit.com. Where your state's law provides a right to appeal a decision we make about your request, you can appeal by replying to our response, and we will inform you of the outcome and of how to contact your state's Attorney General if you remain dissatisfied.

11. Children

Our products and Site are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one on the Site, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
