1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how HELP SENIOR, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), which operates The Estate Kit and The Kiwi Estate Kit at theestatekit.com, handles your personal information. We handle personal information about people in New Zealand in line with the Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to sell and deliver our digital products and to support you:

  • Your name and email address (given at checkout)
  • Order information (the product bought, date and amount)
  • Basic browsing information (IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referral source)
  • Any message you send us

We do not collect or store your full card details: payments are handled directly by our payment providers. What you write in the kit itself stays on your paper or your own device; we never receive it.

3. How we use it

  • To process your order and deliver your kit by email
  • To provide customer support and respond to your messages
  • To meet our record-keeping and other legal obligations
  • To send you related updates or offers, where you've agreed. You can opt out at any time using the link in any email
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:

  • Vercel — website hosting
  • Stripe and PayPal — secure payment processing
  • Our email provider — to deliver your kit and support emails
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising and measurement, where you've consented
  • Google Ads and Customer Match — with your consent where required, personalised advertising and measurement using the Google tag and hashed email addresses from our customer and checkout lists. These lists help show relevant ads and exclude existing buyers. Hashed data is not anonymous. You can withdraw consent or opt out by contacting us, and manage personalised ads in Google My Ad Center. See how Google uses data from partner sites.

We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law.

5. Cookies and tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies: some are necessary for it to work, and others help us measure traffic and, where you've consented, deliver and measure advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and any consent banner shown on the Site.

6. Where your information is held

We and some of our service providers are based overseas, including in the United States, so your information may be stored or processed outside New Zealand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected in a way that, overall, provides comparable safeguards to those in the Privacy Act 2020.

7. How we keep it safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and payment processing by PCI-DSS-certified providers, and we limit access to those who need it. If a privacy breach happens that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as the Privacy Act 2020 requires.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet our legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify it.

9. Your rights: access and correction

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. You can also opt out of marketing emails at any time. To make a request, email raphael@theestatekit.com. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right; you can also make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).

10. Children

Our products and Site are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one on the Site, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
